Based in Clear Lake, Iowa, Clay Craighton is an experienced agronomist in the Corn Belt. Clay has over 6 years working within the agricultural carbon industry, but has also worked in several other realms of agriculture. Clay has worked with DuPont Pioneer and Monsanto (Bayer) involved in various seed operations research teams in the greenhouse and field level. He also worked directly with farmers face to face while working as an area agronomist for Christensen Farms in charge of northern Iowa site locations and calculating manure application rates while selling to farmers. He spent a year and a half with Indigo Ag as a Field Operations Specialist working directly with growers on their data collection, qualifying growers, and soil sampling their acres firsthand. His specialty lies in soil sampling, carbon cropping, manure management and sustainability. Clay earned his bachelor's degree in Agronomy with an emphasis in Crop Management and Business with a minor in Animal Science from Iowa State University.
