How It Works: The Agoro Carbon Program

Agoro Carbon Alliance makes carbon credits practical and profitable for those who want to participate, here’s how it works…

Farmers and ranchers now have the option to generate ag-based carbon credits. Watch here to see step by step how it all happens.

Agoro Carbon’s program is designed to help producers implement soil-health practices that are both practical and profitable for their operations. By adopting certain conservation practices, they can boost income, reduce future management costs, and enhance soil health. The benefits of increased yields, cost savings, and more resilient, healthier fields and pastures are sure to follow — advantages that will last for years. Curious about how the Agoro Carbon program operates?

Review:
Together, with our farmers and ranchers we discuss program details. They choose their own journey by selecting practices to implement at their operation with our support.

Onboarding:

We help collect our farmers and ranchers data to get a carbon baseline of their land and handle any administrative activities needed to generate carbon credits.

Action:
Our farmers and ranchers implement new conservation practices, while Agoro Carbon handles measurement, reporting and verification (MRV) for high-quality carbon credits. Agricultural carbon credits are established by farmers and ranchers and ready for the voluntarily carbon market.

Buyers:
Our farmers and ranchers keep farming while we secure carbon buyers for them and sells credits after the
MRV process. We’ll manage relationships with buyers while our growers do what they do best!
